We use "who", "what", "where", "when" and "how" to ask for unknown information. Question sentences involve different grammatical structures. These grammatical structures are addressed at the intermediate level. This is an introductory lesson into question words.

Question Words


"Who" asks about people.

"What" asks about things.

"Where" asks about places.

"When" asks about time.

"How" asks for an explanation.
