Description

Pronouns take the place of a noun in a sentence.

Object Pronouns

An object pronoun is placed after the verb in a sentence. It is used to show an action done by the subject to the object (pronoun). There are singular and plural object pronouns. Me, you, him, her and it are singular pronouns - they represent only one person or thing. Us, you and them are plural pronouns - they represent more than one person or thing.

Possessive Pronouns

Possessive pronouns are placed after the forms of the verb "be" to show who the noun belongs to. There are singular and plural possessive pronouns. Mine, yours, his, hers and its are singular pronouns - they represent only one person or thing. Ours, yours and theirs are plural pronouns - they represent more than one person or thing.
