In the question form of the present continuous tense the verb "be" comes before the noun or pronoun. These questions can be answered "yes" or "no".


Am I stopping?

Are you stopping?

Is he stopping?

Is she stopping?

Is it stopping?

Are we stopping?

Are you stopping?

Are they stopping?

Examples:

Am I watching television?

Is the baby crying?

Are the children smiling?

Are they holding the kittens?

Are we working?
