Description

The present continuous tense is used to show that an action is happening at the present moment. The verb form of "to be" is followed by the main verb + "ing". This form comes after the pronoun or noun.

Note: There are spelling rules for adding "ing" to different verbs. These rules are not taught in this program.

You are growing.

He is growing.

She is growing.

It is growing.

We are growing.

You are growing.

They are growing.

Examples:

I am watching television.

The baby is crying.

The children are smiling.

They are holding the kittens.

We are working now.
