Description

The negative of the simple present tense uses the forms of the helping verb "do" plus "not". The main verb is in simple form. "Do not" comes between the subject and the main verb.

Note: "He", "she" or "it" can be replaced with a singular noun. "We" and "they" can be replaced with a plural noun. "You" can be singular or plural.
